Mouth-Blown Smoke and Shadow

Working with glassblowers in Murano and the Bohemian hills taught me that glass is fundamentally a liquid that was frozen mid-stride. When you look closely into mouth-blown smoke glass, you see tiny micro-bubbles called seeds, faint swirling striations known as cords. When light passes through these organic imperfections, it doesn't glare; it softens into an ethereal amber glow. It wraps around the solid stone bases of our table lamps, creating a poetic duality between terrestrial weight and atmospheric lightness.
