A Dialogue with Gravity

January 18, 2026

Gravity is not an obstacle to be conquered; it is the silent anchor that gives purpose to form.

Equilibrium as a structural and spiritual discipline across two decades of sculptural atelier practice.

Every sculpture we have ever released is an argument with gravity. We stack three hundred pounds of honed travertine on a contact point no wider than a coin, balancing it with an offset bronze counter-lever. Visitors often hold their breath when they first approach it, sensing the precarious poise. That tension—that momentary suspension of disbelief—is where art resides. It reminds us that balance is not a static state of rest, but an active, vigilant engagement with the invisible physics of our universe.
