Tova captures the elemental unpredictability of high-fire earth and ash, yielding unrepeatable tactile surfaces through deliberate atmospheric alchemy.
Tova is thrown on a slow wheel and altered while wet to introduce organic undulations. Coated in a feldspathic shino glaze and fired over 48 hours in a reduction atmosphere, generating an intricate network of charcoal craquelure.
