Lura investigates the quiet warmth of domestic radiance through the deliberate dialogue between fibrous washi paper and patinated solid brass.
Lura pairs heavy solid patinated brass with Japanese washi paper that has been hand-stretched over an internal bent armature. The result is a calm, diffuse illumination reminiscent of late afternoon light.
